Wondering is kale good for dogs? While healthy in moderation, too much kale can cause issues. Check with your vet on adding kale safely.

Is It the Same for Raisins and Sultanas?

There is no doubt that raisins and sultanas affect dogs in the same way grapes do. Raisins and sultanas are dried versions of grapes. Therefore, the toxic ingredients are also there.

Many believe that dried versions like raisins and sultanas are more concentrated because they are dried, so the effect of raisins and sultanas is more dangerous than grapes. Hence, there is a BIG NO for grapes, raisins and sultanas[2].

You should also be a little careful about other food items you might give as treat to your dogs like biscuits or cake. Normally, they both contain the ingredients of grapes and so they become toxic also.

I strictly tell you to never feed raisins, sultanas or currants along with grapes. Contact your vet if your dog ate any of them or you served something which contains raisins, sultanas, currants, or grapes.

Just like grapes, raisins and sultanas, other fruits like raspberries can also be toxic to dogs, so it’s important to research can dogs eat raspberries before feeding them.
